In addition to the great professional experience, I had a chance to learn about America and its people, and to find out about the cultural traditions, both modern and old. During last Christmas holidays, I was honored by a visit from my new American friend, David Olson. I gladly showed him our Ukrainian traditions and was happy to host him in my family. I am very grateful to the Community Connections Program for the opportunity to participate in this internship.
